This all started with two Logitech Momo racing wheels and the game Need For Speed and rFactor. It was pretty much instant addiction. My wife and I spent countless hours racing each other, palms sweating, and adrenaline flowing. It was pretty great back in the early 2000's when we first started, and now it's insane.
The graphics capabilities and hardware available is absolutely incredible now. The racing experience is very realistic. Force Feed Back is also very accurate in many of the racing simulators, providing a truely immersive experience. I had given sim racing a rest for many years, until the end of 2019 when I dusted off my old Logitech G25 racing wheel. I had already had a Playseat evolution so getting back at it was prett simple for me as computers are my business. I took an old workstation and added an Nvidia GTX 1050 ti graphics card and away I went. Wow things have changed and now I'm hooked. So I finally upgraded my system and what a difference.
Lenovo Legion T730, i7 9700k, 16gb RAM, 512ssd, 1TB 7200rpm, and an Nvidia RTX 2070 Super... Awesome.
